The Aragonese people who left 50 years for a reservoir … and have resurfaced as a tourist destination

One of them is the Mill pool, a kind of Pyrenean Cala without a sea, where the ARA river stops to form a natural pool of crystalline and turquoise waters. The Molino pool, also called Poza de la Glera, is a natural pool modeled by the ARA River, the only great Pyrenean river without reservoirs. This turns its flow into something exceptional: clean, free and wild, with a water that goes down directly from the thaw of the mountains.

During the summer, the place is transformed into one of the purest and most refreshing baths in Aragon. The turquoise waters surprise by their transparency, and although their temperature is low even in August, the experience of diving between living rock and Pyrenean vegetation is difficult to forget. For those who do not dare to immerse themselves at all, just get their feet, float for a while or simply contemplate the landscape.
