He IAACC Pablo Serrano of Saragossa He hosts throughout the summer the exhibition “from the classrooms to the museum. Educational innovation projects in the museum”, in which students from eight Aragonese schools and institutes show their artistic expressions under the slogans “My refuge” and “Memory of a generation”.

“From classrooms to the museum” is the final result of a collaborative work between the museum itself and these educational centers, which are the College of María Auxiliadora, the transition class Zaragoza, I.E.S Grande Covián, School of Arts of Zaragoza and C.P.I Parque Venecia and the I.E.S Goya de Zaragoza.

The conductive thread for all of them is to bring the museum to the classroom, and that, although all young people have been very grateful and excited to be exposed in this Zaragoza Museum, “the pleasure of having this exhibition is ours,” said the director of the IAACC Pablo Serrano, Julio Ramón.

In addition to an approach, this exhibition proposes to young people to understand art as a continuous learning instrument; While attracting students to museums for purposes, not only of learning, but also of entertainment and enjoyment.

In total there have been 22 educational centers that have participated, although only the works of these eight are exhibited. “This does not mean that they have not worked, but, finally, in the selection process to expose, these have been the centers that have been launched,” said Ramón.

The artists

Students of the E.S.O, Baccalaureate and upper degrees have flooded the initial room of the museum this Friday afternoon to inaugurate a room for its demonstrations. Some of the centers worked under the slogan “my shelter” and others on “memory of a generation.” Be that as it may, the quality of art shows “in one more than others”, as one of the students explained.

Another student has underlined the value of their refuge when performing the work. “I say it is my refuge because it is a limbo in which I can be myself. A line between music and me,” said the young artist.

Paints, photographs, sculptures, and even jewels make up this sample in which students have been working for months. Finally, they have seen their effort and work in one of the most important museums in the city, and the exhibition will be at the IAACC Pablo Serrano until September 7.
