He Main Theater of Saragossa He has practically completed his capacity for the most magical concert of Biella Nuei, which on Monday, June 16, at 8:00 p.m., he will review his 40 years of experience surrounded by 17 great guest artists, with each of which will perform on stage one of his chosen songs. Raised as the great party with travel companions, it is intended to be a tribute to the Aragonese and Spanish folk, with names that also started many years ago, as well as others that have come later.
Luis Miguel Bajén, one of the founders of the training has summarized these 40 years as an experience that has passed “as a blow.” As he says, “it has been something very nice for being able to dedicate us to the music of our land and to give life with new energy and respect for the roots, with the possibility of expressing ourselves in 12 albums and more concerts, and sharing adventures and trips.”
Therefore, the mythical Aragonese Folk Group has conceived for this occasion a very special performance, a recital of more than two hours, with two different parts: the first will be dedicated to its latest album “Ordesa-the flying tree”, and will offer an immersive experience, in which the beauty of the folk will be added painting sound, and the projection of images of the National Park of Ordesa and Monte lost. This audiovisual and musical tour tries to pay tribute to the landscape and nature of this part of the Aragonese Pyrenees, but, especially, to the people who inhabit it.
The second part will be a celebration of the history of the group and the movement of the new Aragonese popular music, in which some of the best groups of the Hispanic folk have grown. A total of 17 interpreters and groups of Aragon, Spain, France and Morocco will pass through the stage to review some of the best known songs of the Biella Nuei repertoire: Ixo Rai!, The Round of Boltaña, the Fabirol orchestin, the artists of the guild, Joaquín Pardinilla, María José Hernández Berna, Nacho del Río, Crestian Josuèr and Occitan Friends, Javier Paxariño, Ester Vallejo, Jorge Casasnovas, Olga León and Jesús Rubio, Idoipe and Utopía Mudejar.
The performance will be recorded live to publish a special edition, a new album in audiovisual book format, a compilation that will include the history of the group and a selection of its most emblematic themes. In addition to the start of this anniversary, this year numerous initiatives will also be carried out to remember and commemorate the 40 years of training.
Until December, the albums “The Birds and Flowers” (1994), “Solombra” (1997) and “We dance!” Will be reissued in digital format. (2017). In addition, the followers of Biella Nuei will be able to enjoy the digital publication of several unpublished songs so far, as well as two exceptional concerts together with prominent artists who were also unknown: “Biella Nuei & Arto TunçboyaciCean” and “Alma del Norte, heart of the south”, with Kepa Junkera.
Finally, the “Biella Nuei and the Flying Tree” is in preparation, with which the anniversary celebration will also continue in 2026 in Spain, France and Morocco.
