Music, Heritage and Nature: La Almunia celebrates the IV edition of “Godina”

On July 5, the Cabañas Park of The Almunia de Doña Godina It will be filled again with music and atmosphere with the fourth edition of the ‘Godina’ Rural Festival, a free cultural event that bets on outdoor concerts, the diversity of styles and the natural and heritage environment as the main scenario.

This year’s poster will have the performances of Fesquito y Mango, Model or Yoniyo, among other artists, on a day designed for all audiences, with a program that mixes pop, rock, electronics, flamenco, cumbia and folklore. The festival is celebrated entirely in the Cabañas Park, where there will be foodtrucks.

In addition as a participatory novelty: from the City Council they encourage the public to take out their mobiles, photograph the rural environment during the day or outside it and send their images. With all the photos received, a collective outdoor exposure will be created that will be installed in the park itself. Likewise, poems will be recited in the substrate of the fridge to create an “intimate moment.”

Since its creation in 2022, “Godina” has grown with a clear objective: claim life in peoples and culture as a development engine. This year’s edition hopes to gather about 1,500 people, many arrivals from the Valdejalón region and other areas of Aragon.
