More than 2,000 boys and 130 community teams compete this weekend in the Aragonese Soccer City “Óscar Fle” for the title of champions of the Cup of its different categories; During the celebration of the Aragonese Base Football Day, 65 finals will be played.
Football Day, which celebrates its 48th edition this year, is a great sporting event to which thousands of people are added among family, coaches and fans. This day shows the importance of this sport in Aragon and the number of people to whom it moves every weekend.
As a final brooch to this party, on Sunday, 240 trophies will be delivered to Base Football League Champions and Football Champions that have played throughout the year in Aragon.
With this event, the Royal Aragonese Football Federation intends to create a great party in which, in addition to sport, the function of football is valued as an educational, social and formative tool, promoting values such as respect, effort, overcoming and coexistence.

Every weekend, some 50,000 people are directly involved in Aragonese football and play around 40,000 games each season. In addition, regional teams gather 1,769 players.
In total, the RFAF manages 41,626 players licenses, 2,268 coaches, monitors or trainers, 664 referees, 99 doctors, ATS and sanitary assistants and 3,122 delegates and auxiliaries.
