Dominican handball Saragossa He has stayed at the gates of proclaiming champion of Spain Cadet after losing for a single goal (36-37) in front of Barça Cadet B in the final of the Spanish Championship held at the CDM Perico Fernández (Salduba). Despite the result, the team led by Carlos Colomer achieves a silver of enormous value, positioning themselves above the level of Barça A and consolidating as one of the reference entities of the National Handball.

The Zaragoza pavilion completed its capacity in a historic appointment: it is the first time that the Aragonese capital hosts this final phase. From the beginning, the Blanquinegro team showed a high competitive level and remained ahead on the scoreboard during much of the game. It was not until minute 35 when the Catalan team managed to tie the match.

A FINAL FINAL UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE

In the absence of ten minutes for the conclusion, Barça Cadet B was first ahead, and since then he managed to maintain that minimal advantage. Dominicans even had the last possession to tie, but time was exhausted with the final 36-37 on the scoreboard.

With this silver medal, Dominicos already has four state podiums in three years: children’s gold (22/23), children’s silver (23/24), Cadet Bronze (23/24) and this new silver medal.

Barça Cadet B, despite being a first year assembly, has a high -performance model that includes double session training, something that makes it a very difficult rival to match. From Dominicans, however, they consider that their evolution in recent years shows that they are getting closer to reaching that level, despite not having the same technical resources.

The Zaragoza team, who had already defeated Barça Cadet B in the group stage, finished the game between tears. However, the balance cannot be more positive: runner -up in Spain after falling by a single goal to one of the most powerful sets in the category.
