The PSOE opens a file to Alfonso Gómez but postpons any decision until you know its result
The spokeswoman of PSOE in it Zaragoza City Council, Lola Ranera, has confirmed on Monday that her party has opened an informative file following the information that links two Aragonese militants, including the councilor Alfonso Gómez Gámez, with the conversations intervened by the Central Operating Unit (UCO) of the Civil Guard in the Koldo case. Ranera has stressed the “forcefulness” of the Socialist Party before any indication of corruption, stressing that the PSOE Aragon Ethics and Guarantees Commission has already transferred the application to the Federal Executive to collect all the information available.
“The PSOE has acted sharply because we have demonstrated zero tolerance,” said the spokeswoman after an internal meeting of the socialist municipal group. As noted, the party will wait to know the resolution of the file before making decisions regarding the affected mayor, although it has assured that the process will be carried out “to the greatest possible speed”.
Chueca, about Gómez Gámez: “I will use all the instruments to make accounts”
The UCO report, which is part of the investigation into alleged irregular commissions refers to a councilor and a mining engineer named Alfonso.
Ranera has also launched a direct criticism of the mayor of Saragossa, Natalia Chueca, for having referred to the matter during the management balance of its two years of government. “What seems unfortunate is that the mayor has used an institutional act to mud and divert the attention of the real problems of the Zaragozans,” he said. The socialist spokeswoman has asked for respect for the internal procedure and has insisted that “the Popular Party cannot give corruption lessons to the PSOE.”
From the PSOE they insist that they will not tolerate any implication in corrupt practices and defend the path of transparency and internal mechanisms as a guarantee of control.
