Lagata Reggae Festival and Estepario scenario cancel their programming for serious floods
The serious floods that keep the region alert Belchite field And especially some of their municipalities, who lived last morning on Saturday, true moments of anguish, have taken their neighbors to make an overexertion to leave as soon as possible and another hundreds of people to solidarity with this tragedy. The last to do so have been, in fact, several music festivals that were going to be held in the coming weeks in localities such as Belchite and Azuara and that have postponed or even suspended their celebration.
This is the case, for example, of Lagata Reggae Festival. This appointment was going to take place in Azuara himself, one of the municipalities most affected by the flood, on June 27, 28 and 29. However, “with a shrunk heart”, as they have expressed from the organization in a statement, they have been forced to announce that Lagata Reggae Azuara 2025, in which Iseo & Dodosaound or Morgana was going to participate, among others, will not be held.
“Now the most important thing is the recovery and well -being of the people that have given us so much and that has welcomed us with open arms. This edition cannot be, but the spirit of the festival is still more alive than ever in a situation like this,” they have written on their social networks.
In a similar situation is Estepario scenario, an event that was going to reach Belchite this weekend, on June 20 and 21, with artists such as Cumbiazepam, Ester Vallejo, Rosin de Palo or Soleá Morente. This appointment, however, is not canceled, but is postponed to a date still to be defined. “With great sadness, we communicate that the festival scheduled for this weekend is postponed due to the serious damage caused by last Friday’s storm in the Campo de Belchite region,” they have communicated on their Instagram account.
“Right now, the most important thing is to support the affected peoples. The landscape that unites us and inspires us needs urgent care. Therefore, although there will be no music or celebration, we want to take advantage of the weekend to gather and help in recovery tasks,” they added. In this sense, it is planned that in the next few days they will be launched for actions to coordinate volunteers and donations.

For all those who had tickets for Lagata Reggae Festival, the organization has reported that the return of them must be requested through email info.es@vivaticket.com before June 29. In any case, they have anticipated, with the money of the entries of those who do not request the return a solidarity fund intended to alleviate the effects of the floods.
Also, an option to make a donation in the “entrances” for those who wish to collaborate has been enabled on the festival’s own website. “The money collected will be for the most affected houses and families, coordinating with the City of Azuara,” they explain.
