We are all to blame inside, but everyone has theirs. That comes to speak Aragonese actress Minerva Arbués, her trip to find forgiveness, yes, through laughter and, perhaps, some tear. He will do it from Thursday, March 19, and until Sunday 22 at the Mercado Theater, in Saragossa, with the work “Mea Culpa”, directed by Diego Peña.
It is the first time that the actress faces a monologue, which supposes two challenges: carry the entire weight of the interpretation and, in addition, bring to the stage a text written by herself, which qualifies as “very demanding”, and that puts it to the test “at every step.” For her, he is relief and a declaration of love of the same, but without forgetting that it is above all a “intense” comedy, as is her. The spectators will witness their trip in search of forgiveness, but at the same time, Arbués hopes, they will take a dip of self -esteem.
The monologue is recommended for an adult audience, over 16 years. From June 19 to 22 at the Mercado Theater at 8:00 p.m. except Sunday that will be at 7:00 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at the box office or for advance sale and all sessions are bonus.
15 years of journey
15 years Minerva Arbués is doing theater. Titled in Dramatic Art at the Municipal Theater School of Zaragoza (Emtz), he worked as an actress in Paula Ortiz’s film “From your window to mine.” But it is his career in the theater that has marked him: he climbed to the tables in 2011 and has no longer lowered. Santiago Meléndez made him the gift that would change everything. It was Adela in “Bernarda Alba’s house.” From here, everything else would come.
With the Temple theater company he has worked from 2016 to the present, in works such as “Life is a dream”, “El Criticón”, “Don Quixote we are all”, or “Blood Weddings”. He shared the way with the company Oscense Lagarto, from 2018 to 2022, where he interpreted functions such as “a lot of noise and few nuts”, “The dream of a summer night”, “The Circus of Life”, or “Don Gil de Olmedo is a dream”. In addition to an actress, Minerva Arbués has a singer facet that lets the cracks of 29, of which she is co -founder.
