Health He has detected that it contains a prohibited substance in quantities above, and does not even appear on the label. The affected product is Stradivarius nº129 Fleur Saline Eau de Parfum.

Health detects a dangerous allergen in the colony

The alert has been issued by the Spanish Agency for Medicines and Health Products (AEMPS), which has ordered the cessation of marketing and withdrawal of all the affected lots. The reason is the presence of Limonene, a very common allergenic compound that, in this case, exceeds the legal limit of 0.001% and is not declared in the labeling.

Limonene, present in many essential oils due to its citric aroma, is a substance that can cause serious reactions in sensitized people. Therefore, its use is strictly regulated and its presence must be indicated in a mandatory way in any cosmetic.

Specifically, the “Fleur Saline” perfume lots of Stradivarius affected have been 41741 and 42181, in the format of 30 milliliters, and lot 42271, in the 100 milliliters. The AEMPS has already communicated this alert to the Autonomous Communities and the tasks have been initiated to remove the product of physical and online stores. In addition, the population is urged to stop using any of the aforementioned lots immediately.

Stradivarius detected the ruling and notified Health

The detection of the problem has departed from the Stradivarius company itself Spain S.A., responsible for its marketing. After identifying the presence of undeclared Limonene, the company notified it to the AEMPS, which activated the usual protocol: research, withdrawal and public alert.

The agency recalled that compliance with labeling is key to consumer safety, especially in products that can come into contact with the skin and cause allergic reactions.
