Viva Sweden closes a week of record in South Pyrenees with three “Sold Out” and 16,000 spectators
The energetic concert of Viva Sweden has ended a week of record in South Pyrenees: In the four days held three Sold Out have registered and more than 16,000 spectators have danced. In addition to the Murcia, who have been accompanied tonight per ultralight, they also filled the Manu Chao amphitheater (Wednesday 16) and Amaia and Izaro (last night, Saturday 19).
With these figures, added to those of the first week, the 27,000 spectators are already reached in the festival. And for the final stretch of South Pyrenees, which includes important names such as Nathy Peluso, Julieta Venegas, Ben Harper or Resident, it is expected to exceed 40,000 visitors.
Viva Sweden’s tickets sold out shortly after announcing his name. It was to be expected: the indie band destroys each festival and enclosure in which it acts. So his concert in South Pyrenees was one of the most anticipated in this edition. Even with the lights off the public was already excited, willing to leave the throat in each song. And when the Murcian quartet (backed by keyboards and at times with saxo) appeared on the Pantano de Lanuza with “Good for you”, the public delivered to the exhaustion.
It was an hour and a half of one hymn after another, with Lanuza in unison: “the years”; “The shore”, “pain and glory” … His followers have come with very well done duties. They have a very well studied setlist, without fissures or fillings, and they know how to handle the times so that the spirits never decay. Because, although at all times the public was almost one more member of the band, when they sounded “we have not learned anything” (with which Rafa Val went down to the amphitheater for fans joy), “the voice of the president” and “the good” the swamp entered into boiling. His rise to increasing leagues is unstoppable.
Ultraligera, in a very short time they have managed to attract all eyes. It is no longer only the new band to follow: they are a reality, a group forged in dozens of concerts by all national rooms. But, knowing that they can still conquer a broader audience, they took the stage with the intention of recording their name in the memory of those who still did not know them. “The garbage” was the departure pistol of a solid concert, with furious guitars and with four musicians with many things to say.
It has been the last show of his tour and they have taken it as such, with all the energy they had left. Gisme, who said that his first festival of his life as a spectator was South Pyrenees, came out with a hood, like keeping the mystery. But he ran, jumped and stirred his foot as if he were life, and it soon took off his shirt: he sweated it. In the first section they deployed the most indie pop songs, but while the show progressed, the guitars won all the prominence, approaching tougher sounds, between the hard rock and the alternative indie of the 90. Not even the rain that has shown in the final stretch could with them, the storm unleashed the quartet with intent.
Out Fumes: How to get to the enclosure
In a commitment to sustainable mobility and the protection of the natural environment that surrounds the enclosure, during the concert days you can only access the festival on foot by a green route of about 20 minutes of walk, by bicycle or by shuttle buses that start from Sallent de Gállego or from the free parking enabled in the neighboring town of Formigal. This service connects with the festival from 7 pm to the closure, with a frequency of 20 minutes and three lines according to the route. It is important to guarantee a place, especially these days of Sold-Out, reserving the tickets in advance, although there is also the option to buy directly at the stops, subject to availability. The return of Hurricane Peluso
Nathy Peluso visited Pyrenees Sur the first time in 2022 and closed that edition with an explosive performance still remembered. So his return is one of the most anticipated. It will be next Wednesday 23 and will present “Fat”, a second work that reveals to a more mature and bold artist, who confirms his unique abilities as a composer and performer, sailing fluid between rap, ballads and tropical genres. With these songs it shows its most intimate and personal side, without fear of speaking openly about the creative crises that accompany the fame, success and pressures of modern stardom.
That same day, it will also feature Elena Rose, one of the most promising figures of Latin pop. It has already been ten times nominated for Grammy and Latin Grammy and has almost 10 million followers in Spotify, thanks to successes such as “Orion”, “A Kiss less” or “I deserve it.” He began composing for first -level names, such as Rauw Alejandro, Becky G, Jennifer López or Mike Towers, but in 2020 he started his solo career to become one of the most interesting proposals of the moment.
The XXXII edition of the International Festival of Cultures will end on Sunday 27 and until then you can see the concerts of Zaz, Camila Guevara, Julieta Venegas, Yerai Cortés, Ben Harper, Quique González, Resident, Laura Sam and Gale.
