Ambar launches the definitive solution to combat heat: an artisanal ice cream by the most famous ice cream shop in Zaragoza
Every summer the same thing happens. Saragossa It is a city of extremes that, while in winter the deer causes the cold cale to the bones, when June arrives the thermometers rise to more than 40 degrees. Therefore, any idea to combat heat deserves attention. And more if it implies a very cool beer.
Amber, the most beloved beer brand of Aragon, he wanted to take another step. In the middle of summer and celebrating its 125 years of history, the Zaragoza has decided to join with ice cream to turn her beer into ice cream.
It all started with a petition: the brand’s followers, in their list of 25 challenges before turning 125, asked for ice cream. The answer? A fun and chaotic video where the Ambar Test, fails and finally succeed. “Not very cold, either frozen … better ice cream,” they joke in networks while narrating the failed attempts to mix birra with ice. The result? Intragable So they did the sensible thing: call the experts.

Tortosa ice cream: the perfect ally for an impossible idea
With 90 years of tradition, Tortosa ice cream faced an unprecedented challenge: create a beer ice cream. They had never done it, perhaps for something, but they accepted the commission with enthusiasm. From its premises on Don Jaime I Street in Zaragoza, this Aragonese ice cream emblem has transformed the golden drink into a creamy, fresh and surprisingly balanced dessert.
The process was not simple. Beer is not precisely a docile ingredient for desserts. But after several demanding tests and tasters (“it is very bland”, “this does not work”), the final version emerged. “It’s good,” is heard at the end of the video. And it is not just any opinion: it is the verdict of those who know most about ice cream in the city.

Limited raffle and exclusive taste: only for the fastest
In addition, Ambar has launched a raffle of 25 free ice cream on Instagram to reward the fastest to comment on their video.
But not everything is lost for those who stay out of the draw. Ambar’s ice cream will be available very soon in Tortosa ice cream, although without confirmed date or price. It is only known that it will be in Zaragoza and that, apparently, it will be as ephemeral as desired.
Perhaps that is why Ambar ice cream is not only a summer whim, but a declaration of intent. A centennial brand that does not fear reinventing itself, an ice cream shop that accepts impossible challenges and a city that, between deer and the sun, always finds reasons to celebrate.
