Up to 15 two -year contracts for specialized personnel will be able to formalize thanks to the call for grants for the hiring of agents of valorization and transfer of scientific knowledge that has launched government of Aragon. This subsidy has a total endowment of one million euros.
These are personnel specialized in promotion, valorization of research and entrepreneurship results, which are going to dedicate support to research centers so that science reaches the business fabric. A figure that until now did not exist and that the Aragon government has pioneered.
Contracts that have been granted to different registered knowledge transfer offices (OTC), USJ, CSIC Aragón, and technology centers such as Circe and Ita. In addition, different institutes such as the I3A, the IA2, the ISQCH, the ICB and the INMA will also receive these aid to incorporate their templates for 2 years specialized in launching the results of investigations or in protecting them through patents or intellectual or industrial property contracts. Likewise, aid to Aragonese public research entities such as the IACS, the appointment, the IISA, the H2 Foundation and the Aitiip Technology Center have been granted.
The objective of these subsidies is to promote greater cohesion in the Aragonese science ecosystem, as well as a greater promotion of effective cooperation and collaboration channels that allow sharing knowledge between public and private sectors by accelerating transfer to the business productive fabric. All this with the purpose of turning the knowledge generated by our scientific community into new solutions with social and economic impact.
