Nine members of a criminal group that assaulted industrial ships throughout Spain fall
The Civil Guard It has dismantled a traveling criminal group that operated in multiple provinces of the country, specializing in robberies with force in industrial ships. The operation, jointly developed by the command of Cáceres, Cuenca and Huesca, has resulted in nine people arrested and investigated, between 20 and 44 years, as alleged perpetrators of 18 crimes of robbery, belonging to criminal organization and a crime against road safety.
The investigations, framed in the Furberic -Llanaro -Rofrasa operation, began at the beginning of 2025 after a series of assaults on companies located in industrial estates from several provinces were detected. The agents verified similar patterns in all cases: thieves used vans with identical characteristics to move and commit crimes, which allowed establishing a connection between the facts investigated.
A highly mobile and coordinated band
Thefts were recorded in a total of ten Spanish provinces, including Huesca, Saragossa, Teruel, Cuenca, Cáceres, Badajoz, Toledo, Albacete and Valencia, which evidenced the high geographical mobility of the group. The coordination between the three civil guard units allowed to unify efforts and jointly analyze all the operating information collected, which was key to identifying the members of the band.
18 robberies have been clarified with force and the leaders of the criminal plot in Spain have been arrested.
With the indications in the hand, the operation of the operation was exploited last June in the city of Madrid, where the arrest of the main involved was carried out and this criminal organization was dismantled.
A key investigation for success
The case has been qualified as an example of effective collaboration between territorial units of the Civil Guard. Thanks to this coordination, not only 18 robberies have been clarified, but it has been possible to identify and stop the alleged leaders and active members of a group that operated itinerant in different autonomous communities, always with the same method and high degree of specialization.
