From the Aragonese capital to the Asian continent. It is the trip that the Casademont Zaragoza This next preseason when it will participate in the Park Shin-Ja Cup 2025 in the city of Busan (South Korea). The International Tournament in South Korean lands will take place from August 30 to September 7 and for the first time, will feature a Spanish club with the presence of Casademont. The Park Shin-Ja Cup 2025 is a prestigious championship that is organized by the WKBL (Women’s Korean League) and that this year also commemorates its tenth anniversary. Appointed in honor of a legend of South Korean female basketball, it has become an international showcase of Asian women’s sports, and now opens its doors to Europe with the participation of Casademont Zaragoza.
In addition to the red-haired club, the tournament will bring together nine teams, six South Korean nationals and three other international guests: Fujitsu Red Wave and Exo Iris (Japan) and DVTK Hun-Therm (Hungary). All matches will be played at the Sajik Indoor Gymnasium in Busan, in an event that seeks to combine high sports level and international projection. The tournament format includes a group stage (groups A and B) from August 30 to September 5, followed by the quarterfinals on September 6, and will culminate with the grand final on September 7.
