
The Sástago Palace hosts the live recording of the cultural podcast “this is not a museum”
The Sástago Palace of the Diputación de Zaragoza It will be the scenario of the live recording of an episode of a cultural podcast this Thursday, July 24 at 6:30 p.m. This is the podcast “This is not a museum”, a project specialized in mediation and artistic dissemination. The appointment, which is part of the XXXVI exhibition Santa Isabel de Portugal Art Award, will feature the participation of artists Rebeca Zarza and Ángel Martínez, winners of this year’s edition.
During the episode, different issues will be addressed around the sample, the prize and the current context of contemporary art in Zaragoza. After the recording, the audience will be able to participate in a colloquium or round table that will allow to know more depth the work and the creative process of the artists. Access will be free until the capacity is completed.
Art and cultural mediation in sound format
“This is not a museum” is a cultural management company formed by Ana Gracia and Pablo Lafarga. His work connects museums and cultural institutions with public through sound resources and mediation experiences. Since 2019 they work in the field of audio with the objective of “preventing art from leaving you cold”, and since 2020 they publish their podcast, which already has more than 200 deliveries and six seasons.
This project has been recognized with the Torre de Babel Award in 2022 and has collaborated with entities such as the Cauces Festival, DKV Seguros, Ibercaja Foundation, Zaragoza Museos, San Jorge University, CaixaForum Zaragoza or the monte contemporary.
