Ibercaja It will contribute 90,000 euros in the next two years for the celebration of the school -age sports games. The Department of Education, Culture and Sports will be responsible for annually convening these games that seek to promote the practice of physical and sports activity. This commitment is collected in the new collaboration agreement between the Autonomous Executive and the financial entity that has been approved on Wednesday.
This cooperation began in 2014, has remained over time and has no cost for public coffers. The agreement will be valid until December 31, 2026 and will be automatically renewed, in the same terms, unless expressly denounced from any of the parties.
The Statute of Autonomy of Aragon attributes to the Autonomous Community the exclusive competition in sport. The law obliges its promotion, the regulation of sports training, balanced territorial planning of sports equipment, the promotion of technification and high sports performance and the prevention and control of violence in sport.
Corresponds to the General Directorate of Sport The development of school -age sports games and the promotion and collaboration with organizational and promotion of school and university sports competition.
For its part, Ibercaja Banco S.A., in its promotion actions, contemplates collaboration with public and private entities in programs aimed at promoting sports activities in youth.
