Aragonese youth takes the floor in the second edition of Aragon Youth Podcast

Jul 24, 2025

Young people have returned to the debate center in Aragon, in key matters such as housing, rural areas or opportunities in their territory. They have done so through the second edition of Aragon Youth Podcast, an initiative launched by the Aragonese Institute of Youth (IAJ), which will travel 10 municipalities in Aragon to record a series of Podcast starring young people.

There they can share their opinions, experiences and concerns about current issues that directly affect them. The municipalities interested in participating have until Friday, July 25, at 3:00 p.m., to request it, sending an email to [Email Protected], following the indications published in the call on the website of the youth organism, which will be available throughout Thursday morning.

The managing director of the Aragonese Institute of Youth (IAJ), Cristina Navarro, stressed that “listening to youth is key to knowing first hand what worries them, what their priorities are and how they see such relevant issues as housing or rural environment. Only if we give them voice we can build policies that really respond to their needs.”

They and they are the protagonists

In addition, Navarro stressed that “with this initiative, it is they and they who become protagonists. We repeat this program for two reasons: the first edition was a success and, secondly, we want to continue touring the territory to listen to the youth of our peoples.”

On the other hand, the director has affirmed that “the Podcast format connects very well with them, is close, fresh, and allows us to amplify her voice also through platforms such as YouTube.”

This project allows to strengthen the link between youth and public institutions, generating a space for direct, dynamic and participatory dialogue. Podcasts will be recorded in each of the selected municipalities between July and October 2025, adapting to the availability of each locality.
