The implementation of the new autonomous support office, which has opened more than a month and a half ago the Zaragoza City Council, Promote the approval of the bases that will govern municipal subsidies so that entrepreneurs who want to implement their projects or relieve those who are going to transfer businesses that are already in operation.
This measure reinforces the support of the Consistory to those who begin in this economic sector, formed by more than 40,000 professionals in the city, as a support that helps guarantee the continuity of this group.
The City of Saragossa, as the mayor announced on May 13 Natalia Chueca, makes available to the self -employed 300,000 euros in aid for the beginning and relief of activity of those who have registered in this regime for 2025 and are domiciled, they and the business activity that will continue or initiate (if applicable), in the municipality of Zaragoza.
Conditions to opt for aid
Among the conditions that are raised for applicants, is the presentation of a company plan and that the activity must be maintained for two years in the regime of freelancers and high in the census of professional entrepreneurs and retainers.
In the case of the activity relay, the requirements are, among others, a motivation of the change of ownership due to greater cause (disability, retirement, circumstances survey or death), the business must be at least three years old, the new one must maintain the same activity during at least 2 years and that the business, if it has closed, takes less than six months with the Bajada.
On the other hand, these are the four sections in which investment amounts and inventible expense are divided, with the corresponding help:
– Investment between 4,000 and 6,000 euros: help of 3,000 euros.
– Investment between 6,000 and 10,000.00 euros: help of 5,000 euros.
– Investment between 10,000 and 15,000 euros: help of 8,000 euros.
– Investment exceeding 15,000 euros: help of 10,000 euros.
The bases that the Zaragoza government will approve this Friday contemplate additional measures to increase the previous amounts. In this way, entrepreneurs will obtain 1,000 euros more if they have completed training greater than 100 hours in the Imefez. This same amount in the case of the transfer or sale of a business or activity and that meet the requirements stipulated by the bases.
Historical investment
The municipal tools available for these local businesses have offered advantages in recent years, both with specific and structural measures. Zaragoza’s businesses have had a historical investment in 2024 in SMEs and Autonomous Fabric Promotion programs, with 20,000,000 euros between the last two years.
The Consistory has created subsidies to modernize municipal markets, for commercial innovation, to improve competitiveness, for a real labor insertion, also for the businesses affected by works, the dynamizations of commercial areas or the successful program “We will return”, which has already extended its benefits to more than 60 municipalities of Aragon Thanks to the Aragon government, with great response from consumers. In Zaragoza, for example, 18 million euros have been generated in sales in the first campaign, and even the billing record was broken in a day, almost 7 million euros.
