All the details about the new house of Real Zaragoza: the Ibercaja Stadium

Stadium name

The stadium adopts the name of the Ibercaja after Banco Zaragozano reached an agreement to contribute between 10 and 19 million euros in the next ten years to the company La Nueva Romareda SL, of which the City Council of Zaragoza, the Government of Aragon and the Real Zaragoza are shareholders. 

In addition to the nomination rights of the two stadiums, the Aragonese banking entity will obtain other consideration for the presence of the brand and use of the spaces. For all these reasons, the Ibercaja will contribute a million euros per year to the new Romareda SL while Real Zaragoza remains in the Second Division, an amount that will be two million euros in the seasons between 2025 and 2035 that the team manages to compete in the First Division.

Guided visits

As of this Friday, July 25, the stadium will open its doors partially so that it can be visited by the general public. These open -door days have afternoon schedule (from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.) from this Friday until Tuesday, July 29; and morning schedule (from 9 am to 12 pm) on Wednesday 30 and Thursday, July 31. The access will be made from the east stands from Luciano Gracia Street, between the Crowning Athletics Stadium of Aragon and the fields of the Aragonese Football Federation.
