The Ibercaja stadium will have bus and tram reinforcements on the game days: tours and frequencies

Jul 28, 2025

The Ibercaja Stadium, located in the old northern parking lot of the Expo, will count on the days of the party of the Real Zaragoza with a specific reinforcement of both urban bus and tram. In this way, moving in public transport to the new field will be an affordable option for those attending these meetings.

The special device will be launched for the first time next Wednesday, July 30, on the occasion of the friendly match between the Real Zaragoza and the Mirandés, who will begin at 8:30 p.m.

With regard to the bus, two emails, called EM1 and EM2, will be available, which will start their service approximately 2 hours before each game and will end two hours after the end of it, with a frequency of about 4 minutes.

EM1 itineraries (European-Modular Stadium)

• SENSE PLAZA EUROPE-MODULAR STADIUM: Deputies, Avda. De Madrid, María Agustín, Plaza de Europa, Puente de la Almozara, Avda. De José Atares, Pablo Ruiz Picasso, María Zambrano, Luciano Gracia, Glorieta Sculptor Óscar Laínez and Final in Luciano Gracia.

• Modular Stadium-Plaza Europa: Luciano Gracia, Gertrudis Gómez de Avellaneda, Pablo Ruiz Picasso, Avda. De José Atares, Puente de la Almozara, Plaza de Europa and Final in Deputies Street.

This shuttle will serve 11 buses. The schedule will depend on the parties themselves, and will be used, as far as possible, articulated buses. The estimated frequency of the line will be about 4 minutes.

EM2 itineraries (Ribera-Modular Stadium)

• Sense Paseo de la Ribera-Modular Stadium: Paseo de la Ribera, Avda. De Los Pyrenees, road of Huesca, Round of Boltaña, Glorieta Sculptor Óscar Laínez ending in Luciano Gracia.

• Sense Modular-Paseo Stadium of La Ribera: Luciano Gracia, Gertrudis Gómez de Avellaneda, Avda. De José Atares, Avda. De Tos Pyrenees, Santiago Puente, Echegaray and Caballero, Puente de Hierro and ending in Paseo de la Ribera.

The EM2 will serve 9 buses. The schedule will depend, as of the other shuttle, on the parties themselves, and will be used, as far as possible, articulated buses. The planned frequency will be 4 minutes.

The tram doubles your service

The reinforcement of the service will begin progressively two hours before the start of the party. Thus, in the case of July 30, starting at 6.30 pm they will gradually incorporated tram units, either in simple or double composition, until a total of 20 units have a total of the line, twice as many of those who provide regular service in that time slot.

When the match starts, the extra units will retire to the Goya Park grooves and return to service to the end of the match, to serve users who leave the stadium and go to the tram stop.

The Minister of Environment and Mobility, Tatiana Gaudes, explained that “the Ibercaja Stadium also involves an important challenge for mobility, trying to facilitate the fluid displacement of most of the attendees. For this reason, an important deployment has been arranged that could evolve based on the needs that are detected.”
