
Some 122 Aragonese tourism companies aid of almost 10.9 million to improve energy efficiency are distributed
He Aragon Government, through the Department of Environment and Tourism, it has granted a total of 10,894,554 euros in aid aid to boost energy efficiency and circular economy projects in the tourism sector, within the framework of the recovery, transformation and resilience plan, financed with European funds Next Generation EU. In this call, 122 tourism companies have been distributed throughout the Aragonese territory: 53 in Zaragoza, 56 in Huesca and 13 in Teruel.
These subsidies aim to support the sustainable transformation of the sector through actions that include the improvement of energy efficiency in facilities, the incorporation of renewable energy, digitalization, waste reduction and promotion of proximity consumption.
Among the types of projects that have been financed include the installation of photovoltaic self -consumption systems, with more than 1.8 million euros granted, the renewal of thermal facilities, with 1.4 million, or the improvement of the thermal envelope of the buildings, which has exceeded 500,000 euros.
By provinces, Zaragoza has concentrated the largest amount of aid, with 6,009,295 euros, followed by Huesca with 4,256,938 euros and Teruel with 628,320 euros. As for the business profile, small businesses have been the main recipients (89), with more than 8.3 million euros received.
