He Huesca City Council, through its general services, it has launched a complete infrastructure and logistics operation to guarantee the correct development of the parties of San Lorenzo, which are held from August 9 to 15.
During the last weeks, the municipal brigades are working intensely in the assembly of the scenarios, conditioning of public spaces and transfer of equipment, with the objective that everything is prepared for the start of the celebrations.
Scenarios are installed at the main points where festive and cultural acts will be developed, such as Plaza López Allué, Plaza de Navarra, Parque Universidad, Paseo Central and Solárium of the Miguel Servet Park or, in the next few days, in the Plaza de la Cathedral. Specific platforms will also be enabled in the San Lorenzo Square for the traditional round to the Holy of day 9 and to facilitate the work of the media until day 15.
Other prominent scenaries of the holidays are located in the fairgrounds, the General Alsina Square, the Paseo de las Pajaritas (where the Greek theater moves), the Palace of Congresses or the Plaza Concepción Arenal.

In addition, an accessibility platform has been arranged in the fairgrounds for people with reduced mobility. The municipal brigades have also carried out works such as the assembly of the stands for the complete ones in the Basilica of San Lorenzo, the conditioning of the bullring and the transfer of support booths for the recreational clubs, civil protection or the violet point, located in spaces such as the Plaza de Navarra, the fairgrounds, the University Park, the street of the park or the Plaza López Allué.
A lodging zone for fairs has been enabled in the esplanade of the Hermitage of Salas and marking and fenced work of both the fairgrounds and the space for the beach bars on Monegros Avenue are being carried out. Also, safety fences will be installed at sensitive points such as the sun watch, children’s games or the discharge dock of the Congress Palace.
Among the specific actions for traditional acts, it will highlight the placement of the grill and scaffolding for the offering of flowers and fruits of August 15, as well as the review and adaptation of the pavement of the procession route of the day 10.
To guarantee security during the acts, the usual distribution of fences (between 150 and 200) will be carried out in different parts of the city, the placement of antiavalancha fences in the Plaza de Navarra and the Palace of Congresses, as well as the distribution of control elements such as the New Jersey requested by Local Police for traffic cuts.
Finally, logistical tasks such as the withdrawal and relocation of urban planters and furniture, the distribution of refrigerators in different municipal spaces and the transfer of the giants and headers, which will return to tour the streets in the traditional parade.
