Monegros Desert Festival 2026 already has a date

Jul 30, 2025

Still with the hangover of a 32nd edition that burst the desert of Monegros With more than 50,000 attendees from 90 countries to the rhythm of Drum, Bass and Techno, there is still a desire to party. One of the most massive festivals in Aragon will return in 2026 with much more music to the joy of the “Monegrinos”. It has been this Tuesday when the organization has announced the date of a new edition.

This will be on July 25, 2026 and promises another 22 hours (and more) of uninterrupted music with some of the most famous DJs and artists on the panorama. In addition, and as happened in this edition, the surprise factor will fill the Aragonese desert again. This year there were two main novelties on stage. Thus, the Duna Stage by Brunch Electronik premiered (with a careful selection of house and techno in a more intimate environment) and the imposing unreal, a dystopian temple for the darkest and most blunt sounds of the European scene.

The most symbolic moment of this edition reached the end. Indira, one of the Spanish DJs with the greatest international projection, made history by becoming the first Spanish woman to close Monegros Desert Festival. His set, vibrant and emotional, was a statement of intentions: the future of the techno is also written in female.

“This year has been deeply exciting. Seeing Indira to close the festival, surrounded by a sea of people delivered after 22 hours without stopping, reminded us why we do this. Not only is it music, it is legacy, it is evolution, it is to break limits,” says Cruz Arnau, co -founder of the festival. “Monegros 2025 has been an edition that breathes present and future at the same time. We have opted for new formats, new talents and new audiences. What has been experienced in the desert cannot be replicated anywhere else,” adds Juan Arnau J
