Huesca It is a province that is not understood without its landscapes. From the peaks of the Pyrenees to the most unknown mountains of the south, there are endless places to stop the car and let yourself be impressed. Some viewpoints are hidden after long mountain routes, but others, equally spectacular, are accessible by car and are equipped to enjoy the environment effortlessly.

Accessible viewpoint of San Quílez (Binéfar)

Located next to the recreational area of the Hermitage of San Quílez, this viewpoint has two rest banks and a picnic table. The views from here cover the agricultural lands of the literary region and, on clear days, mountainous profiles of the Pyrenees are divided as the turbon. Access is made from Binéfar by the A-140 and continues along a completely transeble track by car.

Binéfar, in addition to being one of the most important municipalities in the region, offers all services to complement the visit: restaurants, green areas and a quiet rural environment ideal for a day escape.

Belsué Mirador (Belsué)

This viewpoint offers a unique double panorama: towards the Pyrenees and towards the surroundings of Belsué, within the northern slope of the Sierra Natural Park and the Canyons of Guara. It has parking with two places reserved for people with reduced mobility, interpretive tables with reliefs and braille writing, and perfectly conditioned access.

Belsué is located in a spectacular environment, surrounded by mountains, next to the Santa María reservoir. Very close is the Chopera de Belsué, ideal for an outdoor stop or lunch, and where you can also contemplate a work by the Portuguese sculptor Alberto Carneiro. Art and nature shake hands in this magic area of the pre -pyrineo.

Mirador del Camino del Castillo (Monzón)

Located just in the entrance esplanade to Monzón Castle, this viewpoint offers a privileged view of the entire city. From here you can see the urban silhouette with its most emblematic buildings, and it is the best place to contemplate the historical importance of this fortress.

Monzón is much more than his Templar Castle: Joaquín Costa was born here, and you can visit his home house, the Santa María del Romeral Concatedral, and other buildings of interest such as the City Council or the Palace of Luzán. An ideal place to combine landscape with history and culture.

Mirador del Puerto de Monrepós

In the middle of the mountain, this viewpoint is a natural balcony open to the Pyrenees. It has a great panoramic photograph with names and altitudes of the summits that are seen from there, from Navarra to Lleida, as well as an informative panel that explains the geological structure of the mountain range.

Although it is a passage area, the viewpoint has a picnic area where to make a stop and enjoy the environment. Ideal for those who travel by road and want to contemplate the Pyrenees without leaving the route.

Benasque Valley viewpoint

Halfway between Benasque and Cerler is this spectacular viewpoint, perfect to observe the valley in all its splendor. From here Benasque, Anciles, Eriste and its reservoir are divided, as well as mountains such as the Sierra de Chía, El Perdiguero and El Valle de Estós. At dusk or at dawn, the view is even more impressive.

The road between Benasque and Cerler is completely accessible by car and offers sections with excellent views. Cerler, at 1,540 meters, is the highest town in the province of Huesca and a mountain tourism reference in summer and winter.

Vero Mirador (Lecina)

Located next to the A-2205 road, between Lecina and Colungo, this viewpoint is accessible by car and is adapted for people with reduced mobility. The views of the Vero River canyon are spectacular, and with binoculars it is usual to see vultures, a breakdown, alimoches or Águilas planning on the gorge.

From this point, routes such as the one that leads the coats of the Mallata Tozal, with cave paintings, or the descent to the bottom of the cannon, following the Georuta 5 of the Sobrarbe-Pirineos georuta. A perfect place for those looking for nature and heritage in the same enclave.

Mirador from the Fort of Rapitán (Jaca)

Located on the outskirts of Jaca, the viewpoint of the Fuerte de Rapitán is probably the best place to contemplate the city and the Peña Oroel. It is accessed by car and allows you to enjoy an open and majestic overview of the Pyrenean environment.

The fort, built at the end of the 19th century, is part of the military heritage of Aragon. Jaca, on the other hand, is one of the main tourist destinations of the Aragonese Pyrenees and offers a perfect combination of history, nature and gastronomy.

Mipanas viewpoint (Abizanda)

Although less known, this viewpoint is on the El Grade reservoir and offers a panoramic image of the environment from the immediate vicinity of Abizanda. Access is simple by car and is part of one of the quietest routes in the Sobrarbe region.

Abizanda is known for its medieval tower, its puppet center and its privileged views of the reservoir and the Pyrenees. A little busy stop, but highly recommended for those looking for charming corners and without massifications.

Roda Mirador de Isábena

At the height of kilometer 48.6 of the A-1605 road, between Graus and Montanuy, a path that leads to the viewpoint on the Isábena River. The route crosses the picá forest and ends on a natural balcony with excellent views of the upper course of the river.

Roda de Isábena is one of the most beautiful peoples of the Aragonese Pyrenees. Its cathedral, the smallest of SpainIt is a must. Beside him, the prior palace, the refectory turned into a restaurant and the medieval environment complete an unforgettable experience.

Santa Marina viewpoint (Tena Tramacastilla)

This viewpoint is a few minutes walking from the center of Tramacastilla de Tena, following the street of the church. From there you get impressive views of the Búbal reservoir, Peña Telera and the Sierra de la Partacua. It is equipped with a picnic and although you have to climb some stairs, the access by car to the town is direct.

In summer, from Tramacastilla, the high mountain train that leads to the Ibón de las Paules. In addition, you can make excursions to the Betato Forest or Punta Cochata, and finish the day with good mountain style crumbs. A round plan to combine viewpoints, gastronomy and landscape.
