A-2 is one of the main entrance and exit arteries Saragossa, and also one of the scenarios where more drivers are sanctioned for speeding. According to the latest data from the General Directorate of Traffic (DGT), collected by associated European motorists (AEA), six radars located in this highway accumulate about 28,000 complaints only in 2024, consolidating themselves as some of the most active devices in the entire province.
These figures reinforce the importance of extreme caution in the sections controlled by the Zaragoza radars, especially in the A-2. The volume of sanctions makes it clear that these points are authentic speed traps for conductors that circulate without paying attention to the signals.
The six radars in the A-2 that most fine in Zaragoza
According to the AEA report, the six most “multones” radars in the A-2 are in kilometers 272, 297, 232, 308, 202 and 313. Together, these devices have made a total of 28,778 complaints so far from 2024. The one that has imposed the most sanctions is the one located at kilometer 272, with 10,019 complaints, followed by the radar of kilometer 297 8,099. The one of kilometer 232 has registered 4,573, that of 308 a total of 2,876, the 202 some 2,496 and that of 313 has formulated 715 complaints.
These DGT radars are concentrated in the busiest accesses in Zaragoza and usually coincide with areas of speed or high accident rate, which makes them points especially sensitive to excess speed.
There is a radar that hunts more than 10,000 drivers a year
The most active radar of the A-2 in Zaragoza is at kilometric point 272. Only in 2024 it has fined 10,019 vehicles, exceeding the other radars of the province. In 2023 it was already one of the most sanctioners, with 9,397 complaints, which demonstrates its high efficacy and the low compliance with the speed limits in that area.
The list of radars that fine in the province of Zaragoza
Beyond the A-2, in the province of Zaragoza there are other radars of the DGT that also stand out for its high sanctioning activity. This is the case of the device located at kilometer 508 of the N-330, which has fined 8,359 drivers in 2024, or kilometer 9 of the A-220, with 4,802 complaints. The radar of the N-330 also stands out in km 505 (3,142 sanctions), that of the A-68 in km 269 (2,524) or that of the AP-68 in km 268 (1,579).
