The new security system will be installed at 13 points, that is, in all possible accesses of the Plaza del Pilar. The images and all the information offered by the sensors will be transmitted to the town hall building through a communications network that will be visualized at specific moments by the advanced command post established to maintain the security of a specific event.

One of the cameras will be installed in the covered access of the passage of the converts, while two others will be located next to the source of Hispanity, one south and one to the north, both controlling both exterior accesses and spaces covered by the southwest and north porches of the square, respectively. In Florencio Jardiel Street, devices will be placed on two exterior accesses, and on Milagro Street in Calanda a camera will be installed to cover one of its accesses. Surveillance will also be reinforced on Ximénez de Embún Street, where a control point for external access is expected.
The SEO Square will be another of the focus of attention, with cameras both in the northern and south zone. In the southern part, the device will cover two exterior accesses and one more under the southeast porch of the square. In turn, at the confluence of Santiago (east) streets and Bayeu will monitor an external access and another covered by the southern porch. At the other extreme, at the intersection of the streets Forment and Santiago (west), a camera oriented to the flow of people accessed from both points will be installed.
The cyclone passage will also have two control points. In its access, a covered access will be monitored with visualization from the lighting tower of the square, while in the west access two inputs will be covered by visible cameras from a nearby pergola. Finally, surveillance will be reinforced on Alfonso I Street with a camera in its external access, one of the main pedestrian accesses to the heart of the city.
With this surveillance network, the City hall It aims to guarantee more effective coverage in a key zone of the historic center, facilitating the work of security forces and increasing the perception of safety for residents and visitors.
