The Alba Gorgas route is one of the most recommended excursions in the Benasque Valley to do as a family. Its circular route of just 2.5 kilometers runs along a very well conditioned botanical path, with informative posters and numerous corners where the little ones can stop to observe the vegetation or simply play. Not having barely unevenness and running for the most part by track or on the way as a good firm, this route is ideal for children, it is not just about walking, the environment invites you to discover the flora of the Pyrenees, observe birds and be surprised by the sound of the these river, which accompanies a good part of the journey. The total duration does not usually exceed an hour and a half, although it is convenient to take it easy.

These Gorgas are a succession of pools and waterfalls formed by the river when they fit between rocks and walls of great beauty. From one of the main viewpoints you can admire the main water jump, which in times of thaw or rains low with great force. Without the need to depart from the path, this point becomes the climax of a simple but unforgettable route.
