He Monastery of San Juan de la Peña It is the enclave chosen for the three concerts of the “Music in La Roca” concerts that will take place on August 8.15 and 22. This cycle is part of the programming “Aragon, Land of Culture “, organized by the General Directorates of Culture and Tourism of the Aragon government with the aim of bringing music with Aragonese essence to different “jewel enclaves” of the community.

The public can enjoy the performance of the corner orchestra. Under the title of Slava – Celebration, this concert combines folk and characteristic folk themes of Eastern Europe. At the head of this proposal is Tereza Polyvka, Ukrainian violinist based in Saragossa, that unites its talent to Spanish artists to discover the public Slava’s music.
The passionate songs performed by Tereza Polyvka have catapulted her to success for years in countless theatrical shows, getting the praise of specialized criticism.

Ariadna Redondo will perform. Known for her passage to the Got Talent program, the artist presents a recital of great originality to piano and voice, with a wide repertoire in English and Spanish, based on well -known versions or with their own songs. In the performance, LOOP-STATION will use, with which he builds every song, recording vocal and percussion effects, a technique that involves the spectator of the magic of the creation process.

The monastery will house a concert with operatic touches. The tenor Eduardo Aladrén and the pianist Anastasiya Titovych will perform, along with the tenor Angel Dance and the soprano Graciela Saavedra, as young guest artists. It is a unique concert with a repertoire belonging to works as famous as “Mozart’s magical flute”, “Macbeth” by Verdi, “Romeo and Julieta”, or the “Fausto” of Charles Gounod, as well as Zarzuelas as known as “La Chulapona”.
The Aragonese tenor Eduardo Aladrén began his career in the United States, where he performed more than twenty solo roles for seven years. Since 2010 he resides in Germany and, since 2019, he is part of the cast of soloists of the Deutsche Oper Am Rhein in Düsseldorf. In that same theater, the Ukrainian pianist Anastasiya Titovych works, incorporated in 2018 into the vocal department thanks to her domain of the piano and several languages, which allows her to exercise as an accompanying repertoist and pianist.
Panamanian soprano Graciela Saavedra has developed an international career, participating in outstanding productions such as “Aida” by Verdi or “La Bohème” by Puccini. For his part, the Zaragozano Ángel Dance, graduated in lyric song, has acted in different scenic assemblies under the direction of figures such as Paco Mir or Jacobo Kaufmann.

Tickets to enjoy concerts, which will take place at 8.30 pm, are priced at 10 euros per performance and can be purchased on the Aragon Tourism website. This price includes the round trip transfer from Jaca and from Santa Cruz de la Serós.
The exit from Pony It will take place at 7:30 p.m. in the Plaza Biscós and from Santa Cruz de la Serós, in the town parking at 8:00 p.m. Attendees must move to the monastery on buses enabled for the occasion, in no case in private vehicles.
