Zaragoza modernizes the sound of Prince Felipe to compete with the best enclosures in the country
The Prince Felipe pavilion will premiere a latest generation sound system next season that will significantly improve the acoustic experience in its sporting and cultural events. He Zaragoza City Council, through municipal society Saragossa Sport has approved an investment of up to 235,593 euros (VAT included) to completely renew the sound of the central track of the main sports venue in the city.
The improvement, whose contract has already been approved for tender, arrives at the 35th anniversary of the pavilion and seeks to adapt its facilities to the current technical standards, guaranteeing optimal intelligibility of the sound, an adequate sound pressure against the noise of the public and a high acoustic fidelity in the broadcast of music and voice. The new system will also meet the demands in safety, auditory accessibility and quality for public spaces.
Although since its inauguration in 1990 the pavilion has experienced partial improvements in the sound system, this will be the first integral renewal, designed to resolve the current limitations and respond to the growing demands of the shows it welcomes. With this technological update, Prince Felipe will position the level of the great enclosures of Spain, offering a sound experience according to the first level events that houses.
Modernization will not only benefit viewers, but also the organizers and technical teams, reducing the need for maintenance and improving operational efficiency. With this investment, Zaragoza reaffirms its commitment to reinforce the quality of its sports and cultural infrastructures.
