Calatayud He is already preparing to live a new edition of his great parties in honor of San Roque, one of the most popular and mass celebrations of Aragon. Tradition, music, chupinazo, bullfighting acts and reunions between Peñistas will fill out the streets of joy from August 13 to 16, with a program full of activities for all audiences.
Among the events, the return of the San Roque 2025 Photography Contest, an initiative of the Interanñas Federation that will reward 150 euros for the best photograph of the parties, to the best selfie and to the image that best represents the values of San Roque.

Sunday, August 10. Deceased Peñista Mass
At 8.00, from the Cerro de San Roque, the Mass will be held in honor of the deceased Peñista. Organized by Interpeñas. At the end of the Mass, we will visit the main Calatayud residences, leaving from Santander Mediterranean street, nº 9.
From August 9 to 11. Ninth triduo
Triduum in honor of San Roque, in the Collegiate of Santa Maria.

Hermitage opening
From August 1 to the early hours of August 15, the Hermitage will remain open: mornings: 7.00 to 10.00 hours.

Wednesday, August 13. Start of the San Roque Festivities
18.30 hours. It will stay in La Peña La Unión (Plaza Justicia) where they will be accompanying them on their anniversary and rock of our Preboste Ms. Sandra Serrano Marín.
18.45 hours. The distribution of rods will be distributed.
7:00 p.m. In procession until Plaza de Spain, where we will preside over the traditional chupinazo.

Friday, August 15. PREBOSTE CHANGE
At 10.30 am from the premises Peña La Unión (San Torcuato Calle), we will go to the Plaza de España, accompanied by Peña Garnacha, to preside over the crazy cars, then, we will travel the streets of our city. It is around 8:00 p.m. We will meet at the home of the outgoing Preboste, Ms. Sandra Serrano Marín, local Peña La Unión (San Torcuato Calle), for the processional transfer of the image of San Roque, to the home of the incoming preboste Ms. Ana Isabel Garcia, located in the Avda. Saragossa 9 Once there, we will proceed to the traditional preb change.
Saturday, August 16. Romería to San Roque
05.00 hours. From Avda. Zaragoza, 9, domicile of the Preboste Ana Isabel García, will be in procession to the Plaza de España, where we will collect the members of the Hon. Calatayud City Council, Cabildo and Peñas.
05.30 hours. We will begin the climb to the hermitage of San Roque, we will enter the Collegiate Church of Santa María to turn the honor.
06.00 hours. We will celebrate on the hill of San Roque the Mass in honor of the saint, later, we will take traditional chocolate in the era. We will go down to the Plaza de España, to ask the heifers to the mayor.
Then, we will go to the Margarita Coso, to preside over the morning heifers, and then go up to the San Antonio neighborhood to visit the Calatayud health center.
11.00 hours. The Bilbilitan streets will be toured, to end at 13.30 on Avda. Zaragoza, where the extraordinary general meeting and the traditional raffle of the saint will be held.
17.30 hours. Margarita’s coso invited by Hon is used. City Hall and Interpeñas to preside over the traditional dolls of Capea.

Friday, August 8. Peñista Del Year Dinner
At the end of dinner at the Global Calatayud restaurant, Javier García can already act as “Peñista of the year 2025”. After dinner we will enjoy the verbena in the premises of Peña Garnacha.
Sunday, August 10. Mass of the Peñista
8.00 hours. In the esplanade of San Roque, the Interpeñas Federation organizes this Mass as a memory of the deceased peñistas.
Wednesday, August 13. Rocket and down the rúa
19.30 hours. From the balcony of the City Council of the Plaza del Mercado, the traditional rocket will be launched, which will mark the beginning of the Fiestas de San Roque 2025. It is the most important act of the holidays together with the pilgrimage, so we have to participate and enjoy it in a majority way, with respect to that Sil to improve it year after year.
Both the launch of the rocket, and the subsequent decline of the rocks by the Rúa, will be broadcast live by social networks and on a giant screen on the walk. (An orderly and clean drop is prayed, maximum collaboration is needed, collaborates with us).
August 16 Romería to the hermitage of San Roque
From 02.00 to 05.30, the recessive peñistas will be offered with consumption in the vicinity of the Hermitage of San Roque. The pilgrimage of our employer will begin at 05.15 on August 16 from the Plaza del Mercado, headed by the Saint and the Brotherhood, the Municipal Corporation and Las Peñas. After the chocolate, organized by the brotherhood of San Roque.
07.15 hours. The clubs will go down to the market square to ask for the heifers.
08.00 in the market square, request to the mayor to celebrate the heifers and the Cuévano.
In the afternoon 30 minutes before starting the heifers of Capea (at 5:00 p.m.) we will go to the headquarters of the Paseo Cortes de Aragón to collect the dolls of Capea and the corresponding rock will go to collect the saint to the house of the Preboste to go down to the Plaza de Toros and that the traditional heifers presides.

23.30 hours. In the fairgrounds a day for the peñista will be held, framed in what has been called V Interpeñas Fest, with Ramoncin’s actions, we will continue with Demarco, at the end of the DJ Aaron Torres and DJ Manu performances.
Throughout the afternoon/night there will be a permanent bar service, both for the sale of drinks and varied snacks, for those who want to have dinner and recent inside the fairgrounds. The entrance of the Peñistas will be free presenting the “” Peñista card “.

12.00 hours. The race runs through the market square and the bordering streets. There is the presence of all the clubs, brotherhood and their charangas distributed by the circuit to cheer the race, chaired by San Roque. The participation of cars representing different clubs has generated a healthy and very fun competitiveness for the attendees.

16.30 hours. Departure from our place to go to Margarita’s Coso to enjoy the first bullfight. In the break we will snack a rich snack and ice cream to gain strength and continue dancing all afternoon. This afternoon is Peña Euqor to which we will accompany to her place. After refreshing and dancing a little while there, we will look for dinner to our place. Today Menu Bacon sandwich and cheese with fried potatoes. Collection and closure 22.30 hours.
Friday, August 15
10.30 hours. Departure to our premises with our charanga and carts disguised on this year’s theme “Disney characters”, to encourage all the participants of the Peña cars. After leaving everything encouraging all participating cars, we will go to the street of oblivion to refresh ourselves in the traditional “water slide”. Once the activity will take a snack in Peña Rouuna. Collection 13.30 hours.
16.30 hours. We will stay at our premises to go to witness another bullfighting act in the Margarita Coso. We will take a snack and at the exit of the Plaza Peña the boot will accompany us along the walk making the delights of the entire city. After giving a spinning more through our streets, we will go to our premises to “fill the buche” with succulent York-Queso sandwiches. Collection and closure 22.30 hours.
Saturday, August 16
10.30 hours. Departure from our place with our charanga and carts to delight the personnel who see our rock jump and dance. Visit to the residence of the elderly kings of Aragon where we will make a technical stop and the delights of our elderly.
12.30 hours. Peña Solara and Peña La Unión invite us to its star activity, the Great War of Water Balloons that will be held at the Peña La Unión facilities. Vermouth and enhancement. Collection 13.30 hours.
16.30 hours. Departure from our place to go to accompany the dolls of Capea to Margarita’s coso and enjoy the traditional heifers. We will return to honor to the square next to the rest of Peñas and go up to our place in the square.
In the break we will snack a rich snack and ice cream to gain strength and continue dancing all afternoon. Together with Peña Garnacha we will travel the walk to make a joint stop at our premises and recover a bit of the trot that we carry in the body. After the snack we will go for our last “Telepizza” dinner.
22.30 hours. Displacement to the Barón de Warsage 7 ride to attend the children’s parties and say goodbye to SR25 as it deserves.
23.00 hours. Back to our premises, collection and closure.
San Roque 2025 Photography Contest
1. Participants
All residents in national territory.
2. Topics
1st. San Roque Festivities, Images of the Fiestas. 2 °. Fiestas de San Roque, selfies.
3. Presentation
The images will be sent to the telephone number 630 575 809 by applying WhatsApp. They will be sent with the highest possible quality independently that they are captured with mobile or with photographic machine.
4. Number of works
Each contestant will present the amount of photographs you want. All photographs must have been taken during San Roque 2025.
5. Shipping
The photographs will be sent before the hours of August 19, 2025 at the phone previously indicating via Whatsapan.
6. Awards
The following awards will be established:
Award for the best photography of the party. Endowed with 150 euros special “Eduardo Rubio” will grant the best photograph that shows the festival values: endowed with 150 euros. Premium to the best selfie: endowed with 150 euros.
7. Failure
The ruling will be the last days of August, and the winners will be communicated the day after the phone from which the WhatsApp is sent, responding that it is aware of it.
8. Awards delivery
The awards ceremony will be held in the Claretian building with the day and time to be completed.
9. Jury
The jury will be formed by members of interpeñas and photography experts, their ruling will be unappealable.
