The Aragonese city in which the floors for sale fly: one in ten does not last a week
13% of the homes sold in the second quarter of 2025 in Spain did not become a week announced in the market as reported by the idealist portal. Another 25% took to sell between a week and a month; another 26% between one and three months; 27% had between three months and one year, and 9% more than a year. Within the percentage of homes sold in less than a week, called “Express Sales”, the Aragonese city of Huesca is located second in the national classification only behind Granada.
Even with everything, according to general figures, in the last year the percentage of Express sale has been reduced at a point, since in the second quarter of 2024 it was 14%. The highest percentage of sales in less than a week, that of Granada, is 32%. It is followed by the Altoaragonese capital with 27%; Soria (25%), Ceuta (23%), Castellón de la Plana (22%) and Pamplona (22%).
Below are Vitoria (19%), Ávila (19%) and the cities of Santander, Guadalajara, Madrid and Toledo (18%in the four cases). Among the rest of the large markets, the phenomenon has an incidence of 16% in Bilbao, followed by 15% of San Sebastián and 14% of Alicante and Seville.
In Barcelona; Malaga and Palma 12% of the houses were sold in less than a week. At the opposite point we find the cities of Pontevedra, Badajoz, Ourense and Zamora, who share an express rental rate of 5%. They are followed by Melilla (6%), Cádiz (7%) and Albacete (8%).
13 capitals reduce sales rate
In 13 capitals the sales rate has been reduced in front of last year, being Barcelona where it has been most noticed, since it goes from 18% of the second quarter of 2024 to 12% of this year. Zamora follows (from 11% to 5% current), Albacete (from 13% to 8% current). Among the large markets this rate has also been reduced in Malaga (from 16% to current 12%) and Seville (from 15% to 14% current).
The greatest growth of all capitals occurred in Soria (from 0% to current 25%), Ceuta (from 6% to current 23%) and Huesca (from 12% to current 27%). Express sales in Madrid grew a point (from 17% to 18% current).
Provinces
As with the capitals, Granada is the province in which there has been a higher percentage of “express sales”, reaching 25% of those registered in idealist in the second quarter. They are followed by the provinces of Soria (20%), Álava (19%), Madrid (18%) and Asturias (18%). They are then Guadalajara, Navarra and Vizcaya (who share 17%), A Coruña (16%), Cantabria and Zaragoza (who share 15%). Zamora is the province with the lowest incidence of express sales, with 4% of the second quarter sales. They are followed by Ourense (5%), Albacete (6%), Lugo and Ciudad Real (who share 7%).
