Las Vegas surrenders Bunbury: Zaragoza will receive the most prestigious award of Latin music

The Zaragoza musician Enrique Bunbury He will be distinguished in Las Vegas, with the Special Prize of the Latin Academy of Recording® (Lifetime Achievement Award), award that recognizes interpreters whose creative contributions have had an exceptional artistic relevance for Latin music and its communities, which have highlighted and stand out both for their legacy and for the moment of full creative activity that they go through.

With more than three decades of experience, Bunbury has built a repertoire that covers from rock and bolero to electronics, cabaret and folklore, always with a personal style and a recognizable voice. After passing through Heroes of Silence, he developed a solo career that includes albums such as small, Sonora and Licenciada canteen.

In 2025, Bunbury has presented pending accounts, an intimate album, engraved with austere instrumentation and accompanied by a narrative mediative. The launch has coincided with the street hurricane meeting, the band that accompanied him in his first steps as a soloist, with which he travels America and Europe on a tour with exhausted tickets.

The tour will pass in September in Madrid, Barcelona and Saragossa Before traveling to Buenos Aires, closing a year that combines institutional recognition in Las Vegas with one of the most active and successful stages of his artistic career.

The recognition will be delivered at the beginning of November, in a private act, within the week of Latin Grammy®. Bunbury will share the tribute with other artists selected by the Board of Directors of the Academy.
