The General Directorate of Cultural Heritage of the Aragon Government The service contract for the computer platform that will house and allow the management of the data obtained in the actions under the Knowledge Heritage Network (KHN), axis axis, retech-arregon, has taken bidding. In this way, the regional executive continues to promote the use of new technologies in the protection and dissemination of Aragonese cultural heritage.
The contract that has come out this month for tender is incardin in the Knowledge Heritage Network project, specifically in its retech axis, and aims at the progressive implementation of new digital technologies in the management of the protection and dissemination of the cultural heritage of the autonomous communities.
Within these innovative technologies, among others: HBIM modeling (Heritage Bilding Information Modeling) of buildings; the development of simulations through digital twins in a selection of property of real estate cultural interest; The sensorization and monitoring in real time of the physical, chemical and other nature variables that affect the selected real estate and the development of a platform for data capture and interpretation of them, which allows a better management of preventive conservation.
All this will allow experimental essays for new conservation techniques, guarantee traceability in cultural heritage information, the use of artificial intelligence systems or applications for the transformation and data processing, the use of intelligent statistics analysis tools, a better management of preventive conservation, the intelligent development of tourist initiatives or automated management of visits and opening of monuments.
In this way, the object of this service contract is the design, implementation and commissioning of the computer platform that, on the one hand, allows to house the set of information generated in the digitalization process (digital twins and in the case of built cultural goods, its modeling HBIM) and in the process of sensorization and subsequent monitoring (IoT) of the Aragonese cultural interest goods.
On the other hand, it will enable the application of AI processes to generate new information and processes for an improvement in preventive conservation. Companies interested in submitting their offers for this service contract have until August 13.
