Aragon, on alert for high temperatures: these will be the hottest days of the week
The second heat wave Summer is here. And it is that after a truce with a refreshing deer that has made temperatures descend significantly with maximum of only 30 degrees, Aragon is already in yellow and orange warning for what is coming. The Aemet He has issued a special notice for this episode with “very high” temperatures in most of the Peninsula from this Sunday and predictably until next Sunday. The minimums will not be left behind and that is that in the worst of this episode they will be between 23 and 25 degrees at dawn giving rise to long equatorial nights.

This Sunday will be the last day of truce because the thermometers will mark maxims of 35 degrees in Zaragoza, 34 in Huesca and 33 in Teruel. Already on Monday several areas of Aragon have the yellow warning. It is specifically from southern Huesca, the Ribera del Ebro and the Iberian Zaragozana. By capitals, in Zaragoza, maximums of 37 degrees are expected, in Huesca of 36 and in Teruel of 35. The minimums will go up little by little and will be between 16 and 20 degrees.
The heat will increase as the week progresses and for Tuesday a more notice level (the orange) will be activated in areas such as the Ebro and southern huesca banks. This alert includes maximums of up to 39 degrees in those areas. The rest of the community will not be left behind, because the yellow warning is practically active throughout Aragon. Thus, in the center of Huesca, maximums of 38 degrees are expected, in the five villas and under Aragon 37 and in Albarracín and Jiloca, the Oscense Pyrenees and the Iberian Zaragoza 36. As soon as the minimums, 21 degrees are expected in Zaragoza and Huesca and 17 in Teruel.
The worst days of heat
At the moment, and today, the Aemet alerts do not reach beyond Tuesday but almost safely the agency will activate them as the week progresses. For Wednesday, maximum of 37 degrees in Zaragoza and Teruel and 38 in Huesca are expected and the 40 degrees barrier could be exceeded on Thursday.
The forecast that the agency gives is that 42 degrees will be registered in Zaragoza, 40 in Huesca and 38 in Teruel. The minimums will be significantly high and will range between 18 and 22 degrees in the three capitals.
The panorama already for the end of next week is that it does not get out of 40 degrees in Zaragoza, they are rubbed in Huesca with 39 and stay in 38 in Teruel.
