After the confiscations of the nineteenth century, the City Council of Saragossa He occupied the buildings in 1837 and, in 1871, established the amparo house in a pavilion of the former convent. Over time, extensions were carried out, such as that projected by Ricardo Magdalena in 1885, and new constructions that configured their current appearance.
