The Turolense municipality of Albalate del Archbishop will be the protagonist of the eighth edition of the Festival of the Castles, with three consecutive nights of music and theater in the open air. From August 14 to 16, the Castle and its Plaza, will host the concert of the O’Carolan group, the comic show of Jordi Mercan I survived the EGB and the monologue of Marisol Aznar, my mother!
PROGRAMMING
The program will start on Thursday 14 at 10.30 pm in the Gothic room of the castle with O’Carolan, Zaragozana Formation that celebrates its 30 years on the scenarios by merging traditional Aragonese music with Atlantic influences and sounds of instruments such as the Irish harp, the Armenian Duduk or the Swedish Nykecharpa.
On Friday 15 at 10:30 p.m., Jordi Mercas will relive the 80s with I survived the EGB, a stand-up show full of humor, television winks and public participation.
On Saturday 16, also at 22.30 in the Plaza del Castillo, Marisol Aznar will put the humorous brooch with my mother !!, a tender and irreverent monologue about the different types of mothers, who combines songs, videos and a direct connection with the attendees.
This year, between June 20 and August 31, 35 actions will be held in eleven municipalities that retain historical strengths.
