Tarazona has been one of the areas of Aragon more affected by the Dana that hit the community just a week ago. Among the ravages left by the storm in the municipality, highlights the partial collapse of the hung houses, which resulted in the eviction of nine families that lived there. The mayor of Tarazona, Jaray tone, has met with the residents of the municipality to inform them about the latest advances around the situation and the measures that are being adopted.
The mayor has reported that seven of the sixteen people who were evicted preventively have been provisionally realized in the translator’s house, a municipal resource enabled by the City Council. “An immediate housing solution has been provided and will have the accompaniment of municipal social services while studying other possible help lines,” he added.
The Action Plan
Jaray has also transferred the attendees who, after the technical inspections carried out by experts from the Provincial Council of Saragossa, the Government of Aragon, municipal technicians and specialized companies, an action plan focused on three fundamental axes has been defined: the protection of people, the stabilization of homes to preserve this patrimonial good and direct support for affected people.
“The project is being defined together with highly specialized companies, with experience proven in this type of actions,” Jaray explained. However, the first stabilization tasks have already begun according to the preliminary recommendations issued by these technical teams.
