The trucks of thousands of horses and tons of weight are 20 years roaring in the low Aragon
The 41st edition of the Low Spain Aragón Trophy Getac 2025 arrives from this Friday until Sunday to the Jiloca, Albarracín and Teruel With a new dose of emotion, dust and engine for rally lovers. This appointment reunites the best pilots in the world in one of the most emblematic off -road tests of the national and international calendar. And this year it will be even more special: two decades have been completed since the trucks began to compete in this test, consolidating a category that has won the public’s respect and admiration for its spectacularity.
Since in 2005 the trucks incorporated into the race – with the organization by octagonos – have been part of the DNA of the Low. With engines that can reach the 1,000 horses and weights of up to five tons, these asphalt beasts and the earth will share track with cars and buggies in a demanding and show of show.
Javier Mariezcurrena, among the favorite Spaniards
The 2025 edition will have a dozen registered trucks, including first level teams with experience in the Dakar. Leading the list appears the Czech Martin Macik (Dorsal 800), accompanied by František Tomáasek and David Švanda, who will seek a new victory behind the wheel of their imposing Liaz. It would be the sixth time that Macik is imposed on the Turolenses roads.
But it will not be easy. From the Netherlands comes the powerful crew led by Richard de Groot, along with Jan Hulsebosch and Martin Van Rooij, aboard a powerful Iveco. Your goal will be clear: prevent Macik repeating victory.
Among the Spanish representatives, all eyes will be placed at Navarro Javier Mariezcurrena (802), who returns with a desire for podium. He is accompanied by Ángel Iribarren and Joseba Berasategui in a tanned cabin in a thousand battles.

Teams with experience in the Dakar participate
An Iveco with female flavor and more Spanish teams
One of the most unique presences of the test will be, again, the completely feminine truck of Tibau Team. María Helena Tarruell Tibau will be at the wheel of the Iveco number 806, with Jaqueline Ricci and Arantxa Martí as co -pilots. The team again demonstrates that the motor world is also territory for women.
The Spanish representation is completed with other known names in the discipline, such as the ilerdense Jordi Esteve, who will run alongside Francisco José Pardo and Jordi Pujol, or the Jacoste family: Javier and María, accompanied by Marta Oliveras.
With thousands of power horses and tons of passion for the engine, the low Spain Aragón will once again become the epicenter of the off -road rally from July 25 to 27. And trucks, like every year for 20, will be undisputed protagonists.
