LITERA MEAT receives 9.5 million from decarbonization and leads industrial investment

The Ministry of Industry and Tourism has approved six new projects in line 1 of the industrial decarbonization belongs for a value of almost 12 million euros.  Of these, 9.5 million will be destined for the Aragonese company Litera Meat, based in Binéfar (Huesca), which receives the largest amount of industrial investment in the country. 

This was announced on Wednesday Minister Jordi Hereu, who has advanced that these projects are a reduction of almost 8,900 tons of C02. Government’s support reinforces the role of Litera Meat as one of the great referents of the Spanish agri -food sector. In 2024, the Oscense plant exceeded 886 million euros of billing and processed more than 3.5 million pigs per year, with more than 90% of the staff with an indefinite contract.

In addition to Litera Meat, the beneficiary projects are Lands and Buildingm, in Palacios de la Valduerna (León), with 1.7 million euros; and Llicerca Cales, in Algerger (Girona), with 647,000. With these new resolutions, the binding of decarbonization online 1 has granted more than 465 million euros between loans and resolutions. 

Other subsidies

Hereu has also advanced that, after finishing the deadline for submitting projects to the battery line of the fourth call of the belonging of the electric vehicle and connected, the entity that manages it, Sepides, has received a total of 14 requests, with an investment volume of 1,176 million euros.

This line has a total budget of 280 million euros, of which 180 million will be implemented in reimbursable loans and 100 million as direct subsidies.

For here, Spain It has a central role as a European productive platform, in sustainable mobility, and in key sectors such as chemistry, steel, renewable energies or the agri -food sector and in new sustainable tourism.
