90 -kilometer wind gusts per hour … that they already have an end: this is the day that the heat returns

Jul 29, 2025

The month of July comes to an end and if for something it has been characterized in recent weeks it has been by lower temperatures than usual for this time of year. Both lovers and heat detractors are due to a particular phenomenon: Cierzo. In the Ebro valley he has blown hard and without truce for a few days, causing the thermometers to hardly rise from 30 degrees and nights were somewhat fresh. This Monday was beaten records with gusts of up to 91 kilometers per hour in Valmadrid (Saragossa) or 76 in Zaragoza Airport and the maximum temperatures were only 33.8 degrees in Barbastro.

The forecast is that the deer continues to blow the environment in the community, although, yes, the Aemet has already announced that at the end of this week or principles of the next they will reach Spain “Very warm air masses.” Therefore, this respite of temperatures is very little left.

In fact, in the daily forecast that the Aemet gives you can already notice that rise in temperatures for the end of this week. In Zaragoza there will be a maximum of 37 degrees next Monday and in Huesca and Teruel of 36 degrees. The minimums, yes, will not yet be entirely warm because it is expected to range between 17 and 18 degrees in the three capitals.

It will be from the next week when the deer will become evident that heat of this time of the year (we remember that on July 15 the period of the most heat of the year began, that is, the cannula). At the moment, the Aragonese capital will continue to register strong wind gusts that will exceed 50 kilometers per hour at some points.

Temperatures will remain stable and range between 32 and 34 degrees in the three provincial capitals. The minimums are expected not to rise from 18 degrees and will be especially fresh in Teruel with between 10 and 13 degrees. The Turolense capital will also register rainfall that is expected on Friday and Saturday.
