The basic route costs 18 euros for adults and 15 euros for children under 12, while the 2 -hour excursion is offered for 35 euros per person. For the most adventurers, there are long routes that rise to Buesa on high -level paths with a view to the Pyrenees for 50 euros adults and 45 euros children.

The exits are organized throughout the year, both in the morning and in the afternoon, with titled guides and in small groups. Experience is ideal for those looking for an alternative to hiking, without agglomerations and in direct contact with the environment. 

These routes on horseback in Buesa allow to travel forests, meadows and traditional roads of Sobrarbe, with explanations about the flora, fauna and history of the area. A perfect option for families, couples or lovers of rural tourism in the Aragonese Pyrenees.

GR-15 Route between Fanlo, Buesa and Broto 

For more experienced hikers, the section of the Gr -15 that joins a fan with Buesa and continues until Broto is a great option. This linear route exceeds 17 kilometers and allows you to cross one of the most spectacular landscapes of Sobrarbe, with beech forests and firs, ravines and views of the Ordesa National Park.

It is a well signposted route and highly valued by its variety of ecosystems. It crosses the Barranco del Chate and goes into little busy areas where silence and green dominate everything. It is ideal for those who seek complete immersion in the nature of Alto Aragón.

Sorrosal ravine

Less than three hours from Saragossa, the Sorrosal ravine is one of the best adventure activities you can do in summer in the Aragonese Pyrenees. Located in Broto, just 10 minutes from Buesa, this Barranco de Agua offers a spectacular route with natural slides, jumps and two rappels next to the famous cascade of the sorrosal. It is perfect to start in Barranquismo in Huesca, with guided outputs that include all technical material: neoprene, harness, helmet, boots and safe.

The average price per person is between 85 and 120 euros, depending on the company and the duration, which is usually 3 to 4 hours. The departures are organized in the morning (from 9 am to 2 pm) and in the afternoon (from 14.30 to 18.30), between the end of May and September, when the flow allows you to enjoy to the fullest. 

The activity is suitable for over 12 years, with average physical level, and becomes an ideal way to cool off and live an adrenaline experience in full nature. 

Paragliding excursion or paratrik

Flying paraglining or paratrika near Buesa is one of the most spectacular activities you can do. Companies specialized in adventure tourism, such as Blancas Aguas (Aínsa) or the Sabiñánigo operators, offer bioplaza flights from only 90 euros, with options ranging from 15 to 30 minutes in the air, flying over the Broto Valley, the Ordesa National Park and the Sobrarbe Picos. 

There are also flights in Parathrile (paragliding with motor), a more stable and accessible modality for all audiences, with prices from 90 to 150 euros, and possibility of including HD video for memory.

The schedules usually concentrate in the morning, between 8.00 and 1:00 p.m., when wind conditions are more favorable. In summer and holidays there are also departures in the afternoon, always according to meteorology. It is recommended to reserve in advance, especially in high season.

Family Path for the Barranco del Chate

For those who are looking for something quieter and family, the path of the Barranco del Chate, who starts near Buesa, is a very pleasant option. The road runs parallel to the water course, among meadows, small waterfalls and shadow areas.

It is ideal to do with young children, since it does not have great slopes or complicated sections. In addition, you can find butterflies, animal footprints and corners where to stop playing or doing a Picnic. A perfect plan to disconnect and reconnect with nature.

Sorrosal Waterfall Ferrata 

The Ferrata de la Cascada de Sorrosal, in Broto, is one of the most spectacular of the Aragonese Pyrenees. Only 10 minutes by car from Buesa, it allows to rise next to a vertical waterfall of more than 60 meters, equipped with steps, bridges and safety cables.

The activity, suitable for people with good physical form, can be done with guide or free if you have experience. The views from above are impressive and the feeling of overcoming the rock wall next to the water turns this ferrata into an unforgettable experience.

Lord’s Pardina Forest 

Very close to Buesa is the famous forest of the Lord’s Pardina, between Fanlo and Sarvisé. Although it does not start directly from the town, it is an essential excursion if you are in the area. In autumn, this mixed forest of beech, firs and maple offers one of the most beautiful natural shows of Spain.

It can be traveled by simple trails, even with children, and has areas with catwalks and viewpoints. The contrast of colors, the moss covering the trunks and the humidity of the environment make it look taken from a story. It is undoubtedly a must for hiking and photography lovers.

The pools of the ara river, perfect for enduring heat 

Very close, and also with simple access from Broto or Sarvisé, are the pools of the ARA River, another ideal enclave for free bathroom in the Aragonese Pyrenees. These natural pools are located a few minutes on foot from the road that joins both villages, with shallow areas for children and other deeper to swim calmly, they are a highly recommended option to complete a relaxation day or to take a dip behind a route on foot or by bike.

How to get to Buesa

From Zaragoza

To go from Zaragoza to Buesa, the fastest thing is to take the A-23 highway in the direction of Huesca, exit through the N-330 to Sabiñánigo, and from there continue for the N-260 in a fiscal direction and broto. The total distance is approximately 2 hours and 20 minutes by car. 

From Huesca

From Huesca, you also have to take the A-23 in the north direction to Sabiñánigo, and continue through the N-260 to Broto. 

The route lasts approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes, traveling about 110 kilometers. Final access requires caution in winter due to possible frost or snow.

From Teruel

In total, about 310 kilometers are covered, which is equivalent to about 3 hours and 45 minutes of travel.

It is best to take the A-23 in the north direction to Zaragoza, and from there follow the same route as from the Aragonese capital: A-23 to Huesca, N-330 to Sabiñánigo and N-260 to Broto.
