The autonomous Affected by debts and insolvencies may continue to be host of the Law of Second Opportunity. This has been defended by the government of Aragon and the ATA and Autonomous Associations UPTA, whose agreement, which allows to maintain advice so that self -employed can restructure the debts contracted, has been published this Thursday in the BOA.
The agreement has a budget of 150,000 euros until the end of this year. “The objective of the second chance program is to avoid the insolvency of natural persons that have viable business projects, as well as the advice and promotion of financial culture for self -employed and SMEs,” explains the general director of SMEs and Autonomous, Ana Sanz.
The agreement includes the advice and studies of insolvency for those affected who are in situations covered by the law of the second opportunity, and the analysis of options to provide viability to their economic activity, as well as the support in processes of processes of creditors of creditors of natural persons, in addition to the analysis of the viability of a legal change to follow operations.
There are also cases of people who have already ceased to be autonomous, but that drag debts when they worked on their own. The agreement also covers the development of the Autonomous Labor Observatory.
Good data on the second chance program in 2024
The second opportunity program of the Aragon Government began last year with very positive results. The initiative has allowed numerous self -employed to avoid financial collapse, preserve their businesses and resume their economic activities, as well as accompany the most vulnerable freelancers, affected by embargoes or accumulation of debts.
Thanks to the program, a total of 89 affected were to exonerate more than two million euros, plus another 9 million in process. Services, construction, trade or industry are the sectors that registered more users.
