The Board of Shareholders of the S.D. Huesca, held on Monday, has approved the stadium sales operation The Alcoraz At its appraisal value, generating extraordinary accounting capital gains of more than 12 million euros. In addition, the Oscense club already has the necessary audit reports to register this operation against LaLiga, in accordance with current regulations.
In total, the operation is estimated at about 24.4 million euros, within an agreement for two years and two other extensions and the possibility that the entity can recover the ownership of the time. For sale, a mixed follow -up society integrated by club and DGA representatives will be created. It is a closed pact without the Diputación de Huesca and the town hall of the town
“By express will of investors and the Board of Directors, these funds will not be used for dividend distribution, payment of wages or current expenses, but will remain as the club’s assets to guarantee the continuity of the sports and social project against possible future contingencies,” explained the Altoaragonese club.
This operation will allow Huesca to join the majority of sets of the Second Division which have stages of public ownership. And in this way, the club will not see its salary limit penalized due to the amortization of the stadium.
Five payments in 18 months
From the moment of sale, payments will be distributed over 18 months to 24.4 million: 20% on the formalization date, 20% six months later, 15% at nine months, 15% at twelve months, 15% at fifteen and the remaining 15% in the last one, at 18.
Loss reduction
In the same Board, it has been reported that the club has reduced its losses in the 2024-2025 course to 2.39 million euros, compared to 5.13 million of the previous year, planning to return to positive figures from next season.
In addition, Huesca has registered sponsorship contracts for this new course of a figure close to 5 million euros, more than triple than the previous season, adding those presented to the League with an amount of 4.1 million euros and additional some that are pending imminent signature, with an amount of 0.9 million euros.
